The Food Cupboard is open to all students at Immaculata, regardless of need level. The pantry is an anonymous resource you can use whenever you need it.

Who can use IU Cares?

All IU students can use the food cupboard.

What kinds of items/food does the pantry offer?

IU Cares regularly stocks non-perishable food items. Often times you can also find personal items or household supplies.

How is food distributed?

Students are encouraged to walk in whenever they need any item.  The door is always open.

How often can a student use the pantry?

Students can use the pantry as frequently as needed. Our goal is to reduce food insecurity in the Immaculata community.

Hours and Location

Food supplies on shelves

The pantry has the food stacked on shelves for the students’ convenience. Students can take whatever items they need or want.  Bags are available for carrying the items.  Students are asked to write in the notebook the items they take so these items can be replaced.

The Cupboard is located in 322 Loyola.

The Cupboard is always open.  If it should be locked, please contact any faculty on the 3rd floor  to open the door or contact Sister Susan Kuk in 223 Loyola.
