Average Salary

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics expects jobs in cybersecurity to grow by nearly 35% in the next seven years. Many organizations— corporations, government agencies, financial institutions and health care providers—need cybersecurity experts to design security solutions and recommend defenses for computer networks, apps, data, devices, infrastructure and people.

Program Delivery

All courses in the program are offered online and all the requirements for the major can be completed in less than three years.

Program Structure

The Associate of Science in Cybersecurity degree requires 63 credits that you can finish in approximately two years. Each course meets in accelerated seven-week sessions, taking one course at a time.

An advisory board, made up of experienced cybersecurity consultants, guides and supports the program keeping the curriculum current and relevant.

Immaculata University has an innovative partnership with cybersecurity firm Fortalice Solutions LLC, a leading national security company. This partnership supports the ever-evolving workforce development needs within the cybersecurity field.

  • Discrete Math – 3 credits

9 elective credits from these courses:

  • Introduction to Linux – 3 credits
  • Cybersecurity Fundamentals – 3 credits
  • Defense in Depth – 3 credits
  • Vulnerability Assessment & Testing – 3 credits
