Time to completion for all students entering the program

Program Expected Time to Completion: Students pursuing doctoral degrees are expected to complete the program in 8 years. Under unusual circumstances, students may have compelling reasons to extend the time until degree completion. Guidelines for extension to complete the degree can be found in the Graduate Catalog, page 24, under the section entitled “Extension to Complete Degree.”

Credit for Prior Graduate Work: Immaculata recognizes the graduate study a student may have completed at other institutions of higher education, particularly when those courses closely match the Immaculata curriculum in the degree area the student is pursuing. Specific guidelines that govern transfer credit can be found in the Graduate Catalog, pages 25-26, under the section entitled “Transfer Credit.”
