Immaculata University is committed to providing reasonable academic accommodations to qualified students eligible under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as amended, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. To determine appropriate accommodations, Disability Services engages in an interactive process that balances the needs of the student and academic objectives of the course. To receive accommodations, students must self-identify by completing the Student Intake Form and providing documentation from an appropriately licensed professional regarding the current functional limitations that substantially affect the student in the academic environment, and the recommended accommodations. Instructors are not required to provide accommodations until the student has presented a Letter of Accommodation (LOA).
