BIOGRAPHY:

Raffaele has a strong work history ranging from business to education. She was the vice president, controller at Wawa Inc. for 17 years, serving as the chief accounting officer of the privately owned $4 billion regional retail company. She directed all of Wawa’s strategic planning activities, resulting in the doubling of revenues in three years. She was also a member of the management committee, which oversaw all company operations. Before working at Wawa, Raffaele was an audit manager for KPMG Peat Marwick, where she managed audit engagements specializing in regulated industries.

In addition to working in the business world, Raffaele has a background in teaching. As a visiting assistant professor of business administration at Cabrini College, she taught accounting, finance, and management courses and advised students. Raffaele has also been an adjunct professor at Delaware County Community College as well as at Immaculata University since 2004.
