A Championship Legacy

With 21 NCAA Division III varsity sports to choose from—plus a co-ed esports team, intramurals and club sports—students have ample opportunity to showcase their athletic talent and add to Immaculata's championship legacy. With top-notch athletic coaches, staff and facilities, Immaculata enables students to pursue their dreams of playing collegiate sports while earning a valuable degree.

Among true champions, student athletes are in the right place at Immaculata. Considered to be the birthplace of modern college women’s basketball, Immaculata is home to the Mighty Macs, who won the first three national women’s college basketball championships in 1972, 1973, and 1974. The championship teams were inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2014, and the team is the subject of the 2011 feature film The Mighty Macs.
