Working Adults Can Earn Online Degree in Organization Dynamics from Immaculata University
Beginning Fall 2006, Immaculata University´s Accelerated Continuing and Experiential Learning program (ACCEL®) will offer the Bachelor of Arts in Organization Dynamics, as an online degree completion program. Students do their academic work completely online, fully supported by Immaculata´s faculty and services.
"As we serve the needs of many adult students at off-site locations, it was the natural next step to make one of our most popular programs available completely online," comments Dr. Elke Franke, dean of the College of LifeLong Learning.
The Organization Dynamics program is an undergraduate business degree designed for today´s complex world. The program, comprising 126 credits, emphasizes a multi-disciplinary approach to organizational management. Students earn 36 credits in their major area of study; 48 credits fulfill the liberal arts core requirements and the remaining credits may be electives. Courses in the Organization Dynamics major area of study include Issues in Management, Marketing in a Global Economy, Strategic Planning, Accounting and Finance for Managers, and Managerial Economics.
Students join an online community, called cohorts, where they remain throughout the program. Courses in the program are seven weeks in length and are offered sequentially, allowing working adults to succeed in their studies while attending to a host of other responsibilities.
