The Immaculata Symphony Presents Christmas Concert

The Immaculata Symphony will perform a Christmas concert, "A Classic Christmas" on Sunday, December 9, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. in the Alumnae Hall Theater on the campus of Immaculata University. The Immaculata Symphony is a university-community organization, with a long and outstanding tradition that stems to the university´s founding in 1920. Dr. Victor Vallo, professor of music and chair of the Department of Music at Immaculata University, will be guest conductor for the concert, which includes both students and community members.
This year´s Christmas concert features Dwight Gustafson´s Glorious Sounds of Christmas, George Friderick Handel´s Selections from "The Messiah" with soprano Christine DeVault, Leroy Anderson´s A Christmas Festival and Sleigh Ride, and Daniel Powers´ Sing in Exultation.
All tickets to the Christmas concert are $5.00. More information and tickets are available by calling 610-647-4400, ext.3473. Tickets are also available by mail to Immaculata Symphony, 1145 King Road, Immaculata, PA, 19345, with checks payable to Immaculata Symphony.
Immaculata University, a Catholic coeducational institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
