The 27th Annual Immaculata University Art Show Scheduled for May 7-16, 2010

The 27th Annual Immaculata University Art Show will be held from Saturday, May 8, through Sunday, May 16, in Alumnae Hall. The Preview Party takes place on Friday, May 7, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Each year, the Art Show features original works by regional, national, and international juried artists. This year´s show will present approximately 175 artists´ works, which will be available for purchase and on display in Alumnae Hall on the university´s campus. Among the exhibiting artists will be 45 new artists to the Immaculata Show and 18 fine art photographers. All proceeds of this event benefit Immaculata University´s scholarship fund.
The 2010 Featured Artist is Lionville, PA, resident Dane Tilghman. His art works of African American musicians, baseball players, and Americana stems from his love of the history of these subjects.
Admission to the ticketed Preview Party on May 7 is $75 per person. The general public is invited to view the show for free from Saturday, May 8, through Sunday, May 16. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and on Saturdays, and 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14.
