				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.immaculata.edu/">Immaculata University</a> is holding its 2012 fall production, titled <em>Mame. </em>The production will be held on Thursday through Saturday, November 15-17at 8 p.m. as well as Sunday, November 18, at 2 p.m. in Alumnae Hall Theater. Ticket prices are $10 for adults; $7 for children and students; and $5 for senior citizens (over 65).   Immaculata’s theatrical group, Cue and Curtain, is directed by Sister Marcille McEntee, IHM, instructor of English.   <br />

<em>Mame’s</em> storyline is tied around the era of the Great Depression in the 20’s, focused on an individualist socialite named Mame who takes in her orphaned nephew and they encounter many different adventures.   The <em>Mame</em> production is based on the novel written by Patrick Dennis and also the theatrical play <em>Auntie Mame</em> by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, with the music and lyrics by Jerry Herman in conjunction with Tams-Witmark Music Library, as presented at the Winter Garden Theater in New York. May 24, 1966.</p>
<p> The title character of Mame is performed by Olivia Sallavanti ’15 of Lancaster, PA.   <br />

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Cue and Curtain Children’s Theatre of <a href="http://www.immaculata.edu/">Immaculata University</a> will present <em>Charlotte’s Web</em> on March 21-25, 2012. Performances will be held in the Alumnae Hall Theater at 10:30 a.m. on March 21, 22 and 23 and at 2 p.m. on March 24 and 25. </p>
<p>This beautiful play about friendship, based on E.B. White’s beloved children’s classic, features Wilbur, the young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands animals’ conversations; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.”</p>
