				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The <a href="http://immaculatasymphony.org/">Immaculata Symphony</a> will hold its fall concert, <em>Portraits</em>, on Saturday, November 3, at 7:30 p.m. in Alumnae Hall. Joseph Gehring is conductor.</p>
<p>Celebrating the life and works of French composer Jules Massenet, the Symphony will perform his famous <em>Meditation</em> from <em>Thais</em> as well as his final suite for orchestra <em>Scenes Alsaciennes</em>, a captivating musical portrait of a Sunday in an Alsatian village in France. Other highlights of the concert include <em>La Boutique Fantasque</em> by Ottorino Respighi and Beethoven’s thrilling <em>Coriolan Overture</em>.</p>
<p>Admission is $12 for adults; $10 for seniors, $6 for students, and free for children under 12. Tickets may be purchased at the door.</p>
