Students Interested in Accounting and Internal Auditing Can Attend an Information Session at IU
On Monday, November 3, Immaculata University will hold an Information Session for those interested in earning a certificate in either Accounting or Internal Auditing. The session is from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Faculty Center on the University´s campus.
Immaculata University offers a certificate in Accounting which in combination with a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Prep course is designed to prepare you for the CPA exam. The certificate in Accounting program prepares you for entry-level positions in the field of accounting.
Internal Auditors routinely evaluate emerging technologies, analyze opportunities, assess quality, economies, and efficiencies and provide accurate and timely communication. Demand for internal auditors has dramatically increased with the passage of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. The certificate helps students prepare for the CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) exam.
For more information about either certificate program or other undergraduate degrees, contact the College of LifeLong Learning at 610-647-4400, ext. 3243.
Immaculata University, a Catholic, comprehensive, coeducational institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
