Spring Symphony Concert
The Immaculata Symphony, a university-community organization, held its annual Spring Concert entitled Passions, on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Joseph Gehring conducted, with special guest Janet Ahlquist on piano.
From tragic to triumphant, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Op. 64 is full of emotion and passion. Equally as dramatic, the Immaculata Symphony was thrilled to welcome Janet Ahlquist back to the stage, as she performed Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op. 43. This inspirational concert concluded another exciting season led by Maestro Joseph Gehring.
