Presidential Scholar: Olivia Ross

Immaculata University is pleased to announce that incoming freshman Olivia Ross of Wilmington, DE, has been given a Presidential Scholarship, a full-tuition scholarship worth $30,700 per year, to attend Immaculata.  The Presidential Scholarship, which provides full tuition benefits to recipients, is awarded to a select number of students with a record of academic excellence.  Students are evaluated on the basis of GPA (students must maintain a 3.25 GPA), class rigor, standardized test scores, class rank, and recommendations.  There are four recipients of the Presidential Scholarship this year.

Ross attended the Delaware Military Academy (DMA) in Wilmington, DE.  As a cadet at DMA, she filled various leadership roles including serving as a member of the Graduation Team and Ceremonial Color Guard Commander in the NJROTC program; organizing DMA’s involvement in Special Olympics, and participating in Science Olympiad.  In addition, she enjoys Revolutionary War reenacting.   Ross plans to major in Nursing.
