Presentation on Negro Baseball Leagues

To celebrate Black History Month, Immaculata University is hosting a presentation by Byron Motley on The Negro Baseball Leagues: An American Legacy on Monday, February 13, at 6:00 p.m. in the Green Room.  The presentation is free and open to the public.

The event features a dynamic, interactive presentation on one of America’s most beloved games showcasing stories from the Negro Baseball Leagues from an insider’s perspective.  Byron Motley’s father, Bob Motley, was an umpire in the Negro Baseball Leagues for several years.

This event is part of a series of presentations and activities that Immaculata University is conducting during the month of February in honor of Black History Month.

Immaculata University is a residential, Catholic, coeducational institution of higher education, located on the Main Line between Malvern and Exton, 20 miles west of Philadelphia.
