Personalized Career Planning for Educators

On Friday, March 16, Immaculata University (IU) is offering a free personalized career planning session for teachers who have been impacted by the recession. The goal of the session is to help educators examine opportunities to advance in their careers or transition to new opportunities. Participants will benefit by learning the new certification guidelines for teachers in Pennsylvania; examining ways to upgrade current certifications; having a career professional review resumes and discuss new opportunities; and exploring educational paths and financial aid options.

With expert faculty members in the Education Department, Immaculata offers this service to teachers who would like to re-evaluate their career path.  Counselors from IU’s College of LifeLong Learning and the College of Graduate Studies, along with representatives from the Financial Aid office, will be on-hand to guide participants through the sessions.
