PA Principal of the Year Awarded to IU Grad

Wyomissing, PA, resident and Immaculata University alumna Dina Wert, Ed.D., was named  Pennsylvania’s National Distinguished Principal.  Dr. Wert earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Immaculata in 2005.  She has been the principal of West Bradford Elementary School in the Downingtown Area School District since 2011.

The National Distinguished Principal award, established in 1984, honors exemplary elementary and middle-level principals who set the pace, character, and quality of the education children receive during their early school years.  One principal from each state is selected annually.

Immaculata University is a Catholic, comprehensive, coeducational institution of higher education, located on the Main Line between Malvern and Exton, 20 miles west of Philadelphia.
