The Department of Physical Education and Exercise Science of Immaculata University will host a program entitled "The Female Athlete: Training for A Winning Season," on Tuesday, August 26, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Loyola Hall on the University´s campus. The emphasis of the program is on nutrition for female competitive athletes and also training for strength and endurance for women.
Immaculata alumna Jeanie Subach, MA, R.D., L.D.N., will be the guest speaker for the program. Jeanie is the sports nutritionist for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia 76ers. She is also the manager of Nutrition Services for NovaCare Rehabilitation. Also speaking is Kelly Donohue, M.Ed, ATC/L, athletic trainer at Immaculata University.
