MARYLOU McLAUGHLIN, OF BOOTHWYN, APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF STEWARDSHIP AT IMMACULATA UNIVERSITY

Boothwyn resident Marylou McLaughlin has been appointed director of stewardship at Immaculata University. In this position, she will coordinate donor relations for the university.

Prior to this new position, Ms. McLaughlin, an alumna of Immaculata, served as the director of the Pioneers for the Future Capital Campaign at Immaculata. From 1989 to 1998, she was the secretary/treasurer for Bethel Township in Delaware County, PA; from 1980 to 1986, she served as business manager of Cedar Medical Associates. During her career, she has been a teacher of English and History, and was also a reading consultant for private and parochial schools.

Ms. McLaughlin earned her M.Ed. from West Chester University and her BA from Immaculata. She also holds a Teaching Certification (secondary education in English and History) and a Reading Specialist Certification (K-12).

Ms. McLaughlin comments on her position that "The office of Stewardship presents a wonderful opportunity to deepen and sustain the interest of our alumnae/i, friends, and benefactors in the life of the university and to ensure they know Immaculata has fulfilled the purpose of their gifts and is carefully monitoring the funds entrusted to it."

Immaculata University, a Catholic liberal arts institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
