New Jersey Artists Participate in 23rd Annual Immaculata University Art Show
The Immaculata University´s 23rd Annual Art Show will be held from Sunday, February 12 through Sunday, February 19, along with a ticketed premiere on Saturday, February 11. The Art Show will feature many artists from New Jersey. The New Jersey artists are:
Carol Gartzman Gooberman of Haddonfield works in painting â€“ pastel
Peg Dittmar of Cape May works in painting â€“ oil
Tom Werner of Egg Harbor Township works in painting â€“ oil
*Ellen Gavin of Millville works in painting â€“ oil. Ellen is new to the Immaculata Art Show
Al Barker of Bordentown works in painting â€“ oil
Marsha Dowshen of Bordentown works in pottery â€“ hand thrown
Vladimir Galatsky of Princeton works in painting â€“ mixed media
*Leon Milmeyster of Princeton works in glass. Leon is new to the Immaculata Art Show
Michael Budden of Wrightstown works in painting â€“ oil
The Immaculata University Art Show features the original works of over 180 regional, national, and international professional juried artists whose works will be for sale and on display throughout the University´s Alumnae Hall. All proceeds from the Art Show will benefit university programs and provide student scholarships.
An opening preview reception will be held on Saturday, February 11, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Admission to the reception is $50 per person. Anyone wishing to make reservations should call 610-647-4400, ext. 3122. For more information on the Art Show, visit www.immaculataartshow.com.
The exhibit and sale will continue, free of charge, from Sunday, February 12 through Sunday, February 19. The hours are noon to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.
Immaculata University, a Catholic, coeducational institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
