IU Receives Non-Profit of the Year Award

Immaculata University received the Main Line Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit Business of the Year Award from the Main Line Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, June 27, at its annual 2012 Business Awards Luncheon held at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern, PA.

Sister R. Patricia Fadden, IHM, Ed.D., president of Immaculata University, received the award from Bernard Dagenais, president, Main Line Chamber of Commerce, and William North, market executive, First Niagara Bank.

A Celebration of Business Leadership 2012 provides an exciting and unique forum that brings together the Main Line business community, family and friends to recognize and reward outstanding leadership and achievement.  The recipients are being honored for contributions to their specific fields of endeavor and to the community.

Also sharing the Non-Profit Business of the Year Award was Harcum College located in Bryn Mawr, PA.  Additional award winners include:  Comfort Keepers, Large Business of the Year; American Executive Centers, Medium Business of the Year; Bryn Mawr Running Co., Small Business of the Year; Amy Frazier, PwC, F. Karl Schauffele Community Service Award; and Joseph Carberry, Medical Solutions.

Immaculata University is a residential, Catholic, coeducational institution of higher education, located on the Main Line between Malvern and Exton, 20 miles west of Philadelphia.
