IU Hosts Chester County Dance Festival
The tenth annual Chester County Dance Festival will be held in Immaculata University’s Alumnae Hall on March 31 at 7 p.m. The festival celebrates the dancers’ talent and the diversity of dance styles in Chester County.
The festival will feature more than a dozen dance groups, such as the Brandywine Ballet Company, the Chester County Jazz Ensemble, the Longwood Dance Company, and other groups from local professional and pre-professional companies, as well as area private and public schools. The dancers will perform in a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and modern.
The festival will be hosted by Immaculata University’s Dance Company, whose faculty adviser is Barb Gallagher. Tickets are $10 at the door. For more information or to purchase tickets, please contact 610-647-4400, ext. 3737.
