Health care is a $1.7 trillion industry in America, making up nearly 16 percent of the U.S. gross national product. As "Baby Boomers" approach retirement, a new generation of industry leadership is needed. According to a report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment of medical and health services managers is expected to increase at a faster-than-average rate over the next several years.
