Immaculata University Presents A Concert By John McCutcheon and Tom Chapin

Immaculata University welcomes John McCutcheon and Tom Chapin, two of America´s best known folk singers, who will be performing on Friday, October 8, in Alumnae Hall on the University´s Campus. The concert is sponsored by the Delaware Valley Arts Consortium (DVAC). This event is part of the Fall Cultural Arts Series of Immaculata University.
Tom Chapin has entertained, amused, and enlightened audiences of all ages with life-affirming original songs told in a sophisticated array of styles. John McCutcheon is America´s balladeer. His songs and words channel the conscience of the American people. Australian critics have rated him as "the most overwhelming folk performer in the English language." Johnny Cash, one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, called McCutcheon "the most impressive instrumentalist" he has ever heard.

The Delaware Valley Arts Consortium is a not-for-profit community-based arts-presenting organization founded in 1981. The mission is the development of arts literacy. The DVAC is focused on three art forms: dance, theatre and music.
Immaculata University, a Catholic, coeducational institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
