Immaculata University Names Phoenixville Resident English Instructor
Phoenixville, PA, resident Sean C. Flannery is a new instructor in the English Department of Immaculata University.
As a recent adjunct faculty member at Kutztown University´s Department of English, Flannery taught a variety of English, Writing, and Media courses. In addition to his previous teaching experience at Kutztown University, he served as an adjunct faculty member at Immaculata University, Penn State â€“ Berks Campus, Montgomery County Community College, Elizabethtown College, and Lehigh University. During his career, he has been a reading and writing tutor for both college and high school students and is a member of the South Central Modern Language Association. Specializing in Irish Literature and themes, he has presented numerous conference papers on various Irish subjects.
Earning his MA in English from Villanova University, Flannery is currently working toward his Ph.D. in English from Lehigh University. He completed his BA in English in 1998 from Wilkes University, graduating summa cum laude.

Immaculata University, a Catholic coeducational institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
