Immaculata University is Site for 2005 TechiesDay

Immaculata University is one of several Chester County sites chosen for the 7th Annual TechiesDay held this year on Wednesday, October 12. Fifteen Phoenixville High School students and their teachers will visit Immaculata to learn about careers in technology and opportunities in Chester County and the surrounding region.
The agenda for participants includes a guided tour of Immaculata´s technology department and services, multimedia workshops on Moviemaker and Flash software, and a panel discussion involving technology staff, current students, and alums of Immaculata. A question and answer session and lunch will conclude the day´s activities.
TechiesDay is organized by the Chester County Economic Development Council, the Chester County Information Technology Action Group, and the Chester County Intermediate Unit. For more information on TechiesDay, call the Chester County Economic Development Council at 610-458-5700, ext. 228.
Immaculata University, a Catholic, coeducational institution is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
