Immaculata University Alumna Maureen McCullough Joins Board of Trustees
Immaculata University alumna Maureen McCullough, Esq, ´75 has been elected to the University´s Board of Trustees for a three-year term. "As an active member of the Immaculata community over the past years, Maureen will continue to serve her alma mater with the same dedication and commitment that has made her a leader in health care advocacy. The wealth of experience that she brings to the Board of Trustees will enable the continual growth of Immaculata University," stated Sister Patricia Fadden, IHM, president of Immaculata.
For the past five years, McCullough has served as the regional director for Catholic Relief Services for the Northeastern United States. Throughout her career, she has combined her legal expertise with various health care organizations for the benefit of patient health. As chair of the Healthcare Practice Group for three years, she represented institutional health care providers and medical professionals in all aspects of health care law. Prior to that position, McCullough was vice president for public policy and advocacy for the Catholic Health Association of the United States. She began her career at Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell & Hippel, LLP, in the litigation department for ten years before becoming the special assistant to former Pennsylvania Governor Robert P. Casey. When that assignment concluded, McCullough returned to Obermayer, Rebmann, Maxwell & Hippel, LLP, as a partner and co-chair of the Healthcare Practice Group.
Receiving her Bachelor of Arts in History from Immaculata University, McCullough earned a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Forum of Executive Women among numerous other organizations.
McCullough will join with other Board members to formulate and direct the general policies of the University.
