Immaculata Responds to VA Tech Tragedy

Tuesday Evening, April 17, 8:00 pm – Candlelight Vigil, Marian Chapel (Marian Hall, first floor). The IU community will stand in solidarity with VA Tech as we offer a candle light vigil for the victims, their families and the VA Tech community.

VA Tech Memorial, Villa Maria Rotunda 1st Floor, through Friday, April 20th – A memorial of victim´s names will be placed in the Rotunda; the IU community can leave messages of condolence or messages of thoughts and feelings.

Wednesday, April 18, 5:00 – 6:30 pm – A Grief/Loss Group meets at its regularly scheduled time. All who wish to share thoughts about this tragedy can feel free to join this group. The group meets at the Bruder Center.

Thursday, April 19th –

7:30 am – Mass (Villa Maria Chapel) and 12:00 noon – Mass (Villa Maria Chapel), we will remember in prayer the VA Tech victims.

3:00 pm – Prayer Service – the IU community will gather for a special prayer service for the victims, their families and the VA Tech community. The prayer service will take place in the Villa Maria Rotunda at 3:00 pm.
