Emmaus, PA, Resident Joins Immaculata University as Capital Campaign Director

Douglas H. MacEwan, Jr, of Emmaus, PA, has joined the staff of Immaculata University as capital campaign director. Doug will oversee all aspects of Immaculata´s upcoming capital campaign including working with and cultivating volunteers.
Most recently, he held the position of director of regional giving for Thomas Jefferson Medical College. Throughout his career in higher education, he has held various positions in the Advancement profession at many colleges and universities including: vice president for institutional advancement at Delaware Valley College; associate vice president for development at Alfred University; and director of development at Villanova University. For seven years, he served at Muhlenberg College in a variety of advancement positions and began his career there as a faculty member. He also worked for ten years as an assistant dean of students/director of residence life at Lafayette College.
Doug received his BA degree in psychology from Western Maryland College. He earned his MA degree in counseling psychology from American University and continued at that institution as a doctoral student in the Higher Education Administration program. Doug has been a long-time member in the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
A resident of Lehigh County, Doug lives with his wife, Bev, in the borough of Emmaus, PA. They have three grown children.

Immaculata University, a Catholic coeducational institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
