Upon receiving the Saint Catherine of Alexandria Medal, Sara commented that, "It is a great honor to be one of the many Immaculata students to receive the St. Catherine´s Medal. I am very involved on campus through several student leadership roles, but I do it all to not only occupy my time, but to share my qualities with the entire Immaculata community. I never expected my service to be rewarded with such an honorable medal, and for that, I thank the faculty, staff, and administration who took the time to notice my hard work."
