Circles of Healing: Singing from the Heart
The College of Graduate Studies at Immaculata University will offer a two-day workshop entitled Circles of Healing: Singing from the Heart on Saturday, March 18, and Sunday, March 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Lynn Miller will instruct this class.
The way we speak or sing determines who we are. This Circle uses exploratory exercises for discovering and enhancing the natural singing voice in a supportive environment. Emphasis is placed on the process of guided improvisational singing as a means of developing creativity, self confidence, and leadership ability.
Introduced during the inception of the graduate certificate in expressive arts, the Circles of Healing series presents initiative for study, experiential work, and practice in music, visual arts, dance, movement, and drama.
Cost for the one-credit course if taken at the graduate level is $460 and $335 if taken at the undergraduate level. It is also offered as a non-credit workshop for $160. For more information, contact the College of Graduate Studies at 610-647-4400, ext. 3211.
