Children’s Theatre of Immaculata University Presents “The Adventures of Stuart Little”

The Children´s Theatre of Immaculata University celebrates another season with the production of "The Adventures of Stuart Little." Joseph Rabinette adapted E.B. White´s legendary story of Stuart Little. This mixture of charming music, innovative sets and breathtaking customs, enables the actors to bring life to the human and animal characters. The play is focused on a mild mannered mouse who is trying to survive in a harsh world that is populated by threatening creatures like snowflake, the family cat. Performers for the play consist of Immaculata University students
The University´s involvement with theater for children began as an interim course in the winter of 1971. After that initial production, Immaculata students have entertained thousands of local children with 38 plays. The offerings have ranged from classic fairy tales to imaginative plays written by members of the Cue and Curtain Players. The plays that spark laughter are the most popular; frequently, these are the well known stories.
Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children and students, in addition group rates are available. All seats on Thursday, March 22, and Friday March 23, must be reserved. However, on Saturday, March 24 reservations are not required. Alumnae Hall is accessible to people with special needs. For more information and reservations contact 610-647-4400, ext. 3731 or 3022.
Immaculata University, a Catholic, coeducational institution, is located 20 miles west of Philadelphia, south of the intersection of routes 30 and 352, between Paoli and Exton.
