Chester County Dance Festival

The 11th Annual Chester County Dance Festival was held in Immaculata University’s Alumnae Hall on Saturday, April 20, at 7 p.m.  The festival celebrated dancers’ talent and the diversity of dance styles in Chester County.

The festival featured 13 dance groups from local professional and pre-professional companies, as well as area private and public schools. These groups performed in a variety of dance styles including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and modern. The groups included:

Sponsors for the Festival were the Immaculata University Dance Company, directed by Jessica Birkmire and Barbara Gallagher, M.Ed., assistant professor of human movement science, and the Immaculata Student Government Association.
