Barbara Crea Shannon ’70 Recipient 2014 Alumni Medal Exemplifying the spirit of Immaculata, Shannon began as a religion teacher and went on to work for more than 20 years as an independent distributor of natural nutrition, personal care, and household products. Dianne Majer Mundy ’64 Recipient 2013 Alumni Medal For 30 years, Dianne Majer Mundy served in the Nassau County Probation Department, promoting social justice and ending familial and animal abuse. She investigated situations and filed court reports; supervised families in the child abuse, neglect and custody unit.
