Upper class students
To get involved with a SILC as an upper class student, talk with your advisor about registering for the SILC courses during registration. The SILC courses will be linked together and you must take both of them to be involved. To learn more about the new upper class SILC, check out the Philosophers Analyze the Universe page.
First year students
First year students have the opportunity to be engaged as part of the Wellness SILC or the Consumerism Culture SILC.
Interest Inquiry Form
To get involved with a Special Interest Learning Community (SILC), complete the Interest Inquiry Form. This form asks a few short answer questions about your interest in the SILC. A selection committee will review each submission and determine who will be placed in each SILC. Once placed, you will be registered for the two linked courses associated with the community.
