Effects of bullying

Bullying has a variety of effects on victims. Victims may experience the following problems:

  • Eating disorders
  • Weight loss or gain
  • Fatigue
  • Nightmares
  • Headaches
  • High blood pressure
  • Chest pain
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low self-esteem
  • Fear of going to class/work
  • Shame
  • Feelings of self-hatred
  • Suicide
