Flannery's dedicated and engaging demeanor draws students in, giving them opportunities to grow intellectually and nurturing their problem-solving skills. Whether with iPads or cell phones, Facebook, YouTube, or basic writing, he seeks to use the tools of today’s world to bring life to learning.
“If I am not helping create something new or being responsive to the needs of the students in regards to classroom content or modes of delivery to match today’s learner, then I am not fulfilling the most essential aspect of my job: to ensure that the students are getting the most of their college experiences,” he says.
