PLEASE DO NOT CALL or EMAIL the ATS TEAM or HELP DESK DIRECTLY about course activations, as this may create delays in responding to your request.
As you know, our Moodle system was updated as scheduled, over the Christmas vacation and we are now running version 2.5.3.
While the upgrade was largely successful, there are several issues identified in this version that are causing concerns. Some issues have been resolved, but there are still bugs that they are working to correct.
Please be assured that we are aware of the issues and doing everything we can to resolve them.
I am working closely with the Moodle Rooms support team to ensure that problems are identified and corrected as quickly as possible with minimal impact on instruction.
The following bugs are known. They have been reported and should be resolved soon:
1. Instructors are unable to activate courses at this time. Changes made in the “Update Course Settings” page for activation/ visibility do not save
2. Instructors are unable to change the number of topics visible. Changes made in the “Update Course Settings” page to increase or decrease the number of topics in the course do not save
I will continue to work with the Moodle Rooms support team. I ask that if you encounter issues not listed here, please email me the information so I can assist in resolving them.
