PowerPoint too big for Moodle?
Try saving and compressing it as a pdf (see our FAQ for details) or better yet, upload it to Google Docs or SlideRocket! You can use share settings to post a public link on your course page. This helps save space and time: whenever a Google Doc or SlideRocket presentation is updated, all courses using that link are updated automatically.

Advanced forums provide teachers and students with quick, simple views into the forums and their discussions. Allowing users to sort and search discussions easily and in multiple layouts, and use read tracking. Held in the Gabriele Library Tech Center.

Learn how to create grade categories and add manual items, enter/edit grades and understand aggregation strategies and normalization. Apply the extra credit function.

Moodle Tip: If your students can’t see materials in your course, please be sure to verify that all items are set to VISIBLE = ‘show’ and that there are no date or other access restrictions in place. Remember – BOTH the individual items and the topic / folder in which they are contained must be set to VISIBLE = ‘show’ (open eyeball) and neither should have date or other access restrictions. If so the Helpdesk is holding a walk-up support session tomorrow.

The Helpdesk is also open for Walk-ins Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
