Faculty – Don’t miss: “Best Practices and Great ideas for Messaging, Forums, and Chat”” – October 2nd from 12 to 2PM!
We will focus on the different forum types in Moodle. We will look at what the different forums can be used for, how to make interesting interaction happen, good practices for grade assignments, live chat as a virtual office hours or student collaborative tool.

October 18, 2012 from 12 to 2PM:  “Visual, Aural, Tactile… Oh My! Optimal Instructional Strategies for ALL Learning Styles”
Participants will explore the three primary learning styles with a focus on specific teaching techniques, technologies, and strategies tailored for each style, as well some discussion regarding empowering  multiple intelligences and multimodal learning.
