Course Delivery Methods
Most three-credit courses are taught in five-week modules and include one Saturday and five consecutive weekly meeting from 6-9:30 p.m. If you study at the accelerated pace, to complete approximately nine credits in one semester plan to spend three Saturdays over four months and one night each week in class and through online delivery methods. If you study at the slower pace, the courses you take are still delivered in the “accelerated” format.
Online learning methods are utilized allowing students to meet in the comfort of their own home saving trips to campus. Students have their own or access to computers in the library that support the online learning environment.
The program runs over the entire year meaning classes are scheduled during the traditional academic breaks. Typically there will be an approximate three-week break over Christmas and the New Year with the first class beginning approximately one week after New Year’s Day.
