Admission: General Requirements for CLL
 

The College of LifeLong Learning is open to any student who:

  • Is a graduate of an accredited high school or has achieved the equivalent status through GED certification*
  • Has the potential to meet the educational standards of the university
  • Is a graduate of an NLN accredited diploma school or holds an associate degree in nursing if applying for the BSN (RN to BSN)
  • Has a grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for previous college work

Admission Procedure
 

To commence studies, a student is required to:

  • Submit an application form (an application fee may apply)
  • Present an official transcript of high school work or a GED certificate, and/or an official transcript of previous college studies
  • Students applying to the BSN program submit a copy of current licensure, verification of a physical examination, professional liability insurance, and current CPR certification
  • Arrange for an interview with a counselor in the College of LifeLong Learning by calling 610-647-4400 for:
    • Continuing Education, extension 3238
    • Accelerated Degree Programs (ACCEL®), extension 3882
    • Online Programs, extension 3085

An evaluation of transfer credits will be provided after official transcripts are received. Credits transfer only for courses in which a grade of “C” or better has been earned. Acceptance of prior course work is in accordance with the policies of the department or the program to which the student seeks admission.
