R.N. to B.S.N.

The accelerated R.N. to B.S.N. program at Immaculata University is designed to facilitate the educational mobility of graduates of associate degree or diploma programs of nursing. The program promotes the growth of knowledge, professionalism, and intellectual inquiry.  The program prepares students for graduate study and for meeting the challenges of a dynamic health care system for a global community.   

In accordance with Immaculata's mission, the R.N. to B.S.N. program strives to develop "a truly educated person: value-oriented and committed to seeking truth, promoting justice, and fostering peace."  

Aims

The aims of the R.N. to B.S.N. program are to:

  • Impart a holistic perspective for nursing
  • Develop skills necessary for life-long learning
  • Promote professional accountability and responsibility and a commitment to the profession of nursing
  • Provide an environment that reinforces a sense of ethics, justice, and peace within professional and global communities
  • Foster effective oral, written, electronic, and non-verbal communications skills
