Information for Current Students

Interested in participating in Housing Selection in April?

Here’s a snapshot of some key information:

Lottery numbers: You MUST have a lottery number to participate in housing selection on April 22, 2010. You will receive a lottery number only after completing a housing application, which is done online through SSIU under the student tab. If you fail to submit your housing application by the assigned date you will not receive a lottery number. Without a lottery number, you will not be able to participate in the housing selection process on April 22, 2010. You will be contacted regarding housing after selection has taken place.

Important Dates: You must complete a housing application online by Wednesday, April 7, 2010 or you will not receive a lottery number. Lottery Numbers will be distributed electronically on April 13, 2010 to your Immaculata University email account. Selection of specific housing assignments (i.e. “Housing Selection”) will occur on Thursday, April 22, 2010 in the Great Hall.   Specific times for Housing Selection based on Lottery Numbers will be posted outside the Student Development and Engagement Suite, Terrace Level, DeChantal Hall.

Break Housing Requests

Residential students wishing to stay in housing over publicized breaks must submit a written request to the office of Residence Life and Housing. Forms are available in the SDE suite, or you can download a form below. Students wishing to stay in housing for Winter Break must complete and submit this form no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, December 11, 2009. Forms submitted after this date/time may not be approved.

Residential students who are not approved for break housing must vacate their housing assignment by 10:00am on Tuesday, December 15, 2009.

Now you can check your Housing and Meal Plan Information on SSIU. Simply log into MyIU and go to the Student Self-Service channel. Once you are logged on to SSIU, click the "Student & Financial Aid" link. At the bottom, you will see a link to view your Housing and Meal Plan information in addition to your roommate's contact information.
