Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation of the housekeeping project team, event setup staff and coordinating the campus driver. The position reports to the Housekeeping Manager.  Duties include scheduling, coordinating, and reporting department activities. Support Director of Facilities in implementing overall snow removal operations, conduct operational and departmental training, conducting departmental training to include work practices and safety, spot check completed and work in progress, conduct quality inspections, and maintaining an appropriate inventory of supplies.  The Housekeeping Supervisor will provide on-call and after hours coverage, and is required to work during school closures. 

Minimal Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in project housekeeping.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs and multitask.
  • Ability to maintain effective relations with management team and fellow employees.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing 40 pounds.
  • Possess valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Maintenance Technician I (2 positions available)

Applications are now being accepted for two (2) full time Maintenance positions to work 40 hours per week, with some overtime required to cover special events or emergencies.  One of these positions has primary emphasis on grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities include grounds maintenance as well as maintaining, installing, troubleshooting and repairing campus buildings to include but not limited to walls, doors, windows, ceilings, flooring, lighting, plumbing, basic HVAC, basic electrical, furniture, painting, minor construction, fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers and locks.  Must work as directed by management, be willing to follow all safety policies, complete daily paperwork and assist with set ups as needed.   Applicants will also assist department with snow removal.  Position is classified as Essential Personnel and requires work during school closures.  Must have the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
