Director - International Student and Study Abroad

Immaculata University is currently accepting applications for the Director of International Student and Study Abroad Services.  This position will support the educational mission of the university by facilitating the international students’ transition to life in the United States through immigration advising, orientation, and general support services as well as by accurate and timely government reporting.  The Director will recommend programs which address the internationalization and globalization of the campus.  The Director will serve as the international student coordinator and the primary manager of participation and compliance with the Student Exchange Visitor Program.  The Director will work collaboratively with the Coordinator of the Study Abroad to insure opportunities for students to study abroad. The primary responsibilities will include: performance of duties as principal designated school official (PDSO) and international student coordinator; integration of international students into the community; collaboration with university departments offering services for international students; consultation and collaboration to achieve outcomes for study abroad programs; and serving as a resource for global education.

The successful candidate should possess a Master’s degree with one to three years of experience within the field of international education specifically within a higher education setting; ability to communicate effectively through all means of expression; demonstrated knowledge of technology and computer software; prior experience as a PDSO or DSO, preferred.

Systems Analyst

Immaculata University has a partnership with Ellucian for support of its administrative applications.  The Systems Analyst would be employed by Ellucian and work on campus at Immaculata University. The Systems Analyst will provide requirements analysis, software design, application development, implementation, integration, and maintenance for Ellucian Banner and associated administrative systems.  Duties and responsibilities include design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions based on defined requirements and according to institutional and industry standards, use reporting tools and programming languages to design and develop reports, perform systems analysis for new business processes and business process improvement, design and implement automated batch processes, implement solutions in the student information system, maintain and enhance existing solutions and document changes, troubleshoot technical problems and errors encountered by users, develop and maintain integration between various administrative systems, manage and perform Banner system upgrades and related projects, provide end-user operational support and satisfy ad hoc requests for data, recommend and implement best practices with regard to the institution’s administrative systems, and review system documentation prepared by others for completeness and correctness.

Head Women's Soccer Coach

Immaculata University is currently accepting applications for the Head Women's Soccer Coach. The primary role of the position is to plan, organize, and coordinate a university intercollegiate athletic team. The Head Women's Soccer Coach is responsible for coaching student athletes, individually and as a team, on techniques and strategies of the sport as well as plan, organize, and implement practice and competition event sessions. In addition, the head athletic coach should keep accurate records of student-athlete participation, maintain statistics and general team data, and assist the sports information direction in the training of student workers. The Head Women's Soccer Coach is responsible for communicating with the Director of Athletics in regards to equipment, field, and other needs and conduct the program in accordance with NCAA, conference, and University guidelines. Other responsibilites include recruitment of student athletes and assist with team fundraising efforts. Immaculata University is seeking candidates for a full-time Adult Undergraduate Admissions Counselor in The College of Lifelong Learning.  This position is responsible for recruiting students through an aggressive schedule of visits to 2 Year Degree Granting Institutions and attendance at college fairs, employment fairs, evening programs, open houses and other special events on campus.  The Adult Undergraduate Admissions Counselor reviews applications and recommends acceptance to Immaculata University.  Responsibilities include marketing, recruiting, and meeting with students and families regarding the undergraduate admission process, covering specified college fairs for day and evening programs, local territory coverage to develop relationships with 2 year Degree Granting institutions as well as hospitals and business organizations identified in the CLL Strategic Partnership Plan, conducting presentations to prospective students, families, and other constituents, daily phoning and prospecting of student inquiries, reviewing applications for admission and rendering decisions, conducting preliminary transcript reviews for acceptance and transfer, coordinating with departments on campus on recruitment and prospective student processes, participating in recruitment events, serving on campus committees as assigned, and performing other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, good interpersonal and oral communication skills, ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, 1-3 years of admission, academic advising, counseling, or related experience, and competency in Microsoft Office.  Preferred qualifications include Master’s degree and 3-5 years administrative experience in higher education.  The Adult Undergraduate Admissions Counselor reports to the Executive Director of Non Traditional Admissions.

Environmental Services Aide

Immaculata University invites applications for a full-time Environmental Services Aide to provide housekeeping services for the entire campus including offices, classrooms, dorm rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.  This position may be called upon by students or staff in emergency type situations.  Work may be assigned independently or as a member of a work team.  Some responsibilities include disposal of trash, sweeping and wet mopping all hard surface floors, vacuuming all carpeted floors, dusting exposed areas, and providing laundry services as required.  The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance by checking tools and equipment before use.  They will need to ensure they use the right equipment for the given job and have a basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies used.  This position may assist the Facilities Department in the removal of snow on campus.  Resumes should be submitted to facilities@immaculata.edu.  Indicate in the subject line that the resume is being submitted for the Environmental Services Aide position.  EOE.

Maintenance Technician

Immaculata University invites applications for a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform tasks related to maintaining and improving Immaculata Universities grounds, grounds equipment and facilities mechanical systems in order to provide a safe, functional, and attractive environment for the campus’ students, faculty, staff, administrators, and visitors. Work may be assigned independently or as a member of a work team. This position is considered essential and will require the candidate to be willing to work some nights and weekends to assist with campus emergencies such as snow, flooding, or storm clean up. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to safely and effectively operate heavy machinery such as tractors/loaders, dump trucks, plow trucks, and other equipment and perform minor equipment repair as needed. Part Time Safety Officer

Immaculata University is accepting applications for part time safety officer positions. Safety officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all students, faculty, and staff on the university campus. Shifts are 3 pm to 11 pm every Saturday and Sunday night. Applicants must have a high school diploma, or GED, and a valid driver’s license.   Although prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred, appropriate customer service skills and an ability to learn the duties of the position will be considered.   Benefit package includes partial undergraduate tuition for self and dependents.
