Biography

Donna J. Alberici earned an M.S. in Counseling and Human Relations from Villanova University and her Ph.D. with a specialization in Counseling Studies from Capella University. Dr. Alberici is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and is credentialed as a National Certified Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor and Board Certified Professional Counselor. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, American Psychotherapy Association, American Association of Christian Counselors, and the Association of Christian Therapists. She has been in the counseling field for the past thirty years. Most recently her focus has been child, adolescent, and family counseling and providing clinical supervision for counselors.
 
Dr. Alberici is the Predoctoral Internship Assistant Coordinator within the Graduate Psychology Department. Her areas of interest include clinical supervision, the integration of spirituality and psychology, and clinical work with children and families. Her primary instructional areas include: Counseling Theories and Techniques I and II and Seminar in Counseling Psychology. She has taught Professional Ethics for Counselors, Group Process, and Career Counseling.
