How to Sign Up for a Writing Session

To schedule a session, please visit www.immaculata.mywconline.com. If you are a first-time user, you will need to register for an account and book an appointment. When you are logged in to the scheduling system, you will have the opportunity to book an appointment in one of three mediums:

  • Face-to-face: available for all students who want to work in the Writing Center with a writing assistant.
  • E-tutoring: available to online, off-campus, and nursing students; this is an e-mail session.
  • Online: available to online, off-campus, and nursing students; this is a web conferencing session.

We offer 30-minute or one-hour sessions. Thirty-minute sessions are for assignments that are six pages or fewer. Hour-long sessions are required for assignments that are ten pages or fewer. For assignments that are longer than ten pages, there is no guarantee that a review will be completed in one hour. We recommend scheduling multiple sessions.

If you schedule an eTutoring session and do not receive feedback at the close of your scheduled appointment, please call 484-323-3494.

You are welcome to contact the Writing Center with questions about services. If you have a technical question, however, please direct your question to the WCONLINE support team.

If there are no available appointments or if the particular time/Writing Assistant you were hoping to work with is unavaliable, you may sign up for the waiting list. The waiting list will send alerts to your phone or email in case of cancellations or openings.

What to bring to your session:

  • Any work you have already completed
  • Your writing assignment guidelines
  • Your writing assignment
  • Your ideas and questions about your writing assignment
  • Any feedback you have received from your teacher about your writing
