Job Shadowing Program

Thank you for your interest in job shadowing!

Job shadowing will provide you with the opportunity to shadow an employer and live "a day in the life" of the profession that interests you. You will not only learn if a certain career path is right for you, but you will also get the chance to network with alumni and employers.

The job shadowing program is a volunteer program open to all students.

  • When you sign up to participate, you are making a commitment to follow through with the job shadowing experience. Please consider your ability to commit to the time, duration and location of job shadowing before applying.
  • All participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the job shadowing site.
  • Make sure to attend your meeting with the Office of Career and Professional Development regarding your job shadowing. You will fill out paperwork and receive information about the experience during these meetings.
  • If there are special needs or health concerns which require accommodation(s) in your assignment, please contact the Office of Career and Professional Development.
