Certified as a superintendent, principal, curriculum and instruction supervisor, and elementary education supervisor
McGrath has 29 years of experience in education, with 15 years of experience as an elementary school principal in Radnor Township and Eastern Lancaster School Districts. She was nominated for the 2011 National Distinguished Principal Award.
She has served as a district strategic planning team member, an instructional support team leader, a district elementary math coordinator, an Act 48 committee member, and a district public relations coordinator. She also has experience working in special education and instructional support, and she has taught a variety of subjects at the elementary and middle school levels.
McGrath is a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development; the Pennsylvania Association of Elementary School Principals; Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society focused on education; Phi Delta Kappa Professional Education Association, and the International Reading Association.
